Teaming Up With the Celtics
I've dedicated the last ten years to teaching yoga and mindfulness to promote wellness.
I love teaching outside the studio and bringing these practices to non-traditional venues. I recently got a request to teach in the most non-traditional venue yet: an NBA practice court!
I teamed up with the Boston Celtics Foundation for Scoring in Transition, a program to help veterans transition back to civilian life.
As part of the program, I led a workshop on yoga and meditation for stress management and was joined by NBA All Star Dana Baros. Our goal was to provide an overview of the mind-body connection and provide mindfulness tools that could be useful in real world settings.
